window switch

how do you replace a window switch...my window wont roll down

are your switches in the door or center consle

center console

get a flathead screwdriver put it under one of the small sides the switch and turn the screwdriver and it just pops up.easy little buggers. the most damage you can do is put alittle mark in the console

helpful to others but i cant help my own self. ironic isnt it.

My 91 325iC (which has 4 switches as the rears roll down because of the top) has a push button circuit breaker which is rectangular on the console and has a logo that looks like a side window with a lightning bolt. See if it is disengaged by pushing it once (there isnt alot of movement on mine, more like someone spilled coffee in it long ago)

I had this problem when I first bough the car when I said, "I wonder what this button does?"

my circuit breaker button disengages, and its only the right window that wont roll down.( i have a 2 door so 2 windows roll down.)
