E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

1er Sedan?

Any chance, has there been any info on 1er sedan from BMW, even as plan, or the coupe is all we gonna get as last body shape?

I think it's mostly the US that wants a sedan, so they're probably gonna wait to see how the coupe sells.

I doubt it, the 1-series has been out since 2004. So I think they are just going to run out the current chassis with the coupe. Maybe next generation 1-series.

+1 I remember hearing about six months back that in the
U.S., the versions available will be coupe, vert, and then a sedan. I too think they would be smart to wait until the sales numbers come back from the first two to decide to green light the sedan.

A sedan - it'll be very tight in the backseat though. A hatch really makes much better sense.

They do. They're just not going to sell it here in the U.S.

Doubt we'll get a sedan. The market for such a car will be even smaller than the 1 coupe and 1 convertible. Sadly, people want massive cars like the e90.
