Dont to it. If you really wanted to tint something, just tint the clear portion of the rear lights. If you tint everything on a white car, I dont think it looks clean.

+1 Not worth it! #2 is the major reason !!

Nada. Aftermarket exhaust is suppose to add extra 20-25HP but its nothing your really gonna feel in a car this heavy. The '06-08 e65/66 got a 30HP increase and its no faster than the '02-'05. I looked at Dinan and they make nothing except a throttle body which does nothing. I did put in a K&N air filter though. Best thing to enhance performance for our cars is lowering it.

Date stamp faux pas, Diz. Wassamata-you?!

Also, I think the roof spoiler looks a lot less conspicuous on a black car - wonder how that would look on silver? Isn't it the e-bay roof spoiler, Diz? And the trunk spoiler is authentic, right?

looks sweet diznic007 but whos silver 7 series is that . Dealer? thats sweet. As soon as i sell my boat and expedition I"m buying me one . How much money you think it cost to drop a 7 series and add body kit and which body kit would look the best but of course we all have different taste on how our cars look. Does anyone live in a cold environment where they have snow if i'm not mistaking these are rear wheel drive cars and how will that effect the winter months? dont take it out i guess?

-silver 7 is straight from Ac Schnitzers website.
- H&R's springs approx $300, install/labor - $400+
-Full quality authentic body kit - $4500+, paint/install - $2000?
i like the AC Schnitzer and AUto Couture kit. thats about it.
There are members here that can give you better pricing estimates. all depends where you. everything costs more in CA.

BTW-i like the paint job on your hood would of chosen different colors for the rest of the car ((black/gray combo) but like you said we all have deifferent taste.

New to Bimmer Fest

Howdy guys,

Well I just went back to BMW. On Wednesday I pick up my new 2008 750i. I go back and forth between BMW and Lexus, although I would be happy to stay with BMW if they only would provide good service and make me believe that they actually care. Any way my Lexus LS 430 lease was up and I saw the lease deals on the 750's. I got a dealer in Houston to take $1,500 over invoice (They gave me $5k off and I got the other $5k in dealer cash). When I get my BWM CCA $1,500 rebate I am in this car at invoice. I used 7 security deposits to get my money factor down to .00191 and saved about $90/month, so my lease is about $850/mo., with $3500 cap reduction. The car is a Jet Black 750i with Natural Brown Leather and Convenience Pkg, Comfort Access, Luxury Seating, Premium Sound, 19in Star Spoke wheels, Sat. Radio, iPod interface and K40.

I am real excited to be back in a BMW. I know how great it will drive. I only wish that BMW would treat customers like Lexus. But hey you can't have it all!!

I look forward to learning how to maximize my idrive.

My first question is on PDC. Is there a way to keep the front and rear PDC on all the time. I had my car this weekend and it seemed that in reverse the rear was always on, BUT the front was not.

Thanks

Why w/ you want the Park Distance Control on while you drive?

Try pressing the PDC button after it turns off when you put the car in D.

Welcome to the fest Houston, you have a great color combo it will be hard to keep clean at all times but the seven (E65/E66) looks best on black -imo. Also the options you got are a must, hope you got the windows shades too. I never owned a Lexus or leased before, so I won't comment on that.

Houston we have a problem: PDC ON at all times. PDC is a parking aid that can indicate objects when they are approached slowly, as is usually the case when parking, not when driving. Now, as far as pushing the PDC button every time, you will have to keep pressing on it as it will automatically deactivate every 165 ft (50 m) or 20 mph (30 km/h).

Thanks for the welcome. I want PDC on so I can pull forward in my garage and not hit the wall? I really don't want to reactivate it. The lexus was always on, which was nice.
