I will try to get some better pictures soon. It seems that these rims are very popular, but I definitely love that I see some people have the same taste! So many nice different 7s on here!
I think I've been there, is that carwash on Lincoln Ave near Santa Monica? I don't live in LA (South OC) but got a cuz who lives up there. I'm sure there are quite a few people here who live in LA. And, oh yeah, we expect better pics!

Nice ride

This is my 2001 (yep, Nov. one of the first) 745i. The Dutch may recognise the state emblem on the picture. This car was inpunded by the Dutch Government and auctioned late December. It sat idle for approx. 2 years and I took it apon me to get it going once more.

1st time on the thread! I have so many questions

Im so glad to be apartof this thread. I have questions like you would not believe.
1st already posted a transmission question
2nd- is the BTU9000 the onbly way to have the phone to work if lets say your phone was stolen with the last owner
3rd-Does BMW dealership charge to diagnose your car? If so how much on average?
4th- Passengar airbag light came on? I dont see anyone talking about thaton here . Any idea why this would be happening and if its urgent or not. I would really like to handle one thing at a time

#1 - Didn't see your Q RE: Transmission
#2 - Yes, as far as I know. I am assuming you want to pair your car with a new phone via bluetooth. Dealer should give you a list of phones that are supported with BTU9000.
#3 - Mine charges $200-$300. Don't know if that's b/c of my warranty has expired or if that's a new "stealing" policy by "stealer"s
#4 - There is a recall for this that came out 2+ years ago

Hi thanks for answering my thread. MY transmission question post reads as this :
Transmission warning light came on and saying limited gears availability!! The thing is it drives well. "Knock on wood" but the L1 gear isnt even visible anymore. The system switched over to default driving system . Has anyone 2002 or 2003 experienced this as I hear these years have extremely simlar issues? Once the light comes on do you have to take it to BMW place to get it turned off? or will it recognize when to go off? it has 91,000 miles

Now on that recall for the airbag . Thats only addresses ceratin years. mine doesnt fit. I dont understand why they just dont set the recall for this to all models 2006 and back. It basically happens to all of them almost so just cover everybody because the issue is real. This is a major safety hazard
