Agent- any news on the ESS 530?

I am not close by any means, but I am wondering if they had to send the ECU back or what.

SB beat me to it. Looks like we effed up!

I keep saying time and again that these cares are too damn complicated for their own good.

Can you believe the freakin' computer on the car was the issue???

The dyno should be interesting instead of disappointing this time!

Chris

Mein Auto: '04 E55, '04 Sienna,
More update on my car.

1. Shaking has been reduced although ESS still suspect there is a minor vacumm leak somewhere.

2. the auto transmission really hate the power. Gear enagement between 1/2 and 2/3 are now harsh under open throttle.

3. The power is much easier to notice when drive in sports mode or manual mode. The regular D just don't do justice. I now wish that I have a manual. But then again, it would totally defeat puporse of getting this car S/C in the 1st place.

Does anyone (like Dinan) make software for the 530 automatic tranny? Can you use it with ESS?

I am almost certain ESS sells their kit with the S/w. If you want Dinan S/w then you should buy the DInan kit. No dealer I know would ever allow Dinan S/w to be installed with out the Dinan parts, futhermore, your VIN is recorded by Dinan when you make the s/w upgrade.
It is impossible to get Dinan s/w from anyone but a authorized dealer.
