Ha, no surprise that the underpowered, underachieving 73.6hp/L 2.5L M54 didn't make it on the list.

I am suprised th Nissan V-6 was so far down the list.That whole engine family has been the best thing Nissan Corp. has had going for them for years.

oh geez.
no WONDER. the cap is $52,000. soon the M3 won't even be eligible for this 'competition'. i was wondering why porsche or ferrari powerplants were not on this list. i thought it was any engine made by any mass producer!
