Question(s) for Jon...

Hi Jon:

1. Do you know the Van Wyks (I think they had a VW and possibly several other dealerships)?
2. If yes, are they still doing business up there?

I think I've got my wife (who grew up in SB) talked into bimmerfest, and her family was good friends with them. She's thinking of looking them up while we're there...

Hey Randy,

Van Wyck's sold their dealership a long, long time
ago... However, they still maintain their
body shop down on 433 Chapala St (805)965-9608.

They might still live here in S.B.

I know that the family also used to own a
Chrysler/Plymouth Franchise in Bakersfield.

Ha!

I think I'm doing ok - she was actually looking thru her travel guide this past weekend, and may have made reservations...

But if I need some support, I'll be sure to ask...

Can you make it to Bimmerfest '03 in SB? I hope to meet this crackpot and see what he's like in person. He is probably boring as hell....

While I have never met Millar in person, he has done some interesting things in life that he feels compelled to share with the entire viewing audience over at another BMW board.
