Window Tint

Well Ive had my 7 about 3 months now and im itching to do upgrades. Ive seen allot of the cars on the forum and have taken a few ideas here and there. My first upgrade wil be window tint. Now i know to get ceramic, but dont know a good shop to get it done. I got a quote for $325 installed (f1) but have no clue if thats a fair price. Any help would be greatly appreciated... 21inch silvers wheels are next!

Tint sucks. It ruins the lines of a car.

The only tint that is okay---sometimes---is Huber Optik ceramic tint that is 90%(i think) but blocks UV rays.

+1 for Huper Optiks! I have Huper on my Impala SS and love it. If the tint on the 7er ever starts to discolor I'm switching to H/O!

tint is a must. $325 seems a a little expensive. I had mine done for $250. Then again, I called one shop and they wanted $425.

Call around and bargain with them. If you find a place to do it for $300 you can probably talk them down to $250 by saying so and so quoted me $250, can you match it?

300..... What that sound kind of high... I did llumar tint on my 5 for about 200.... So whats the best tint to go with???? I thought it was llumar...

It all depends on the shop and what film you use.

I used FormulaOne ceramic and it was $400.

What is formula 1 ?? Better than 3m high performance. The shop I use do laser cut tint, no razors near your car.....thats priceless

what did you decide on the window tinting and where did you go...

Buzz-off..quoted $250 on 3M ceramic and $500 on Huper Optik

seems really pricey..when i can get metal tint for $140

Hey Vinny small world I was born and raised to in Corona queens not to far from Forest Hills... $450 sounds pretty high, my thing is I want to get professional job at great price.

I put it on hold for a minute, Im still trying to find best deal in area... or someone thats got it done for good price and happy with outcome.

was this 3M ceramic??? metal tint is always cheaper

Huper Optik is the most expensive film on the market...and $450 is not high from what I have seen

35% $180..dunno what kinda film they used..dont like too dark..cant see at night..

I think you have that backwards. Your fronts are darker than your rears?
