DIY - Installing/replacing decorative strip (light strip) on left or right door
Removing and installing/replacing decorative strip (light strip) on left or right door trim (rear)
Step 1 Pull back foam section (1) over plug (2). Unlock plug (2) and detach from light strip (3). Release screws (4). Step 2 Lever out decorative strip (1) at rear and front from door trim (2). Step 3 Installation: Slide light strip (3) in decorative strip (4) fully towards rear. Following parts of decorative strip (4) must not be damaged: 1 Guides 2 Screw connections 3 Light strip Courtesy of BMW_Tech
