We finally got to see the new BMW commercial here in Sacramento featuring shots of Bimmerfest. Hey, so what if Sacramento is a few months behind!!

Is this the one with all the E30's all over the commercial, including the Pretty in Pink scene with Molly Ringwald? I just saw that one last night.

That commercial is a little old, but it's amazing. I remember the first time I saw it, I heard the narration while I was online, and I turned around to see the scene from the Driver films. Then the rest of it played and I was awestruck. It really makes you think about how much you love driving and cars, and of course BMWs. I played it at least five times on You Tube after that.

Just great.

That commercial still gives me goosebumps. I think it is f*cking awesome that BMW is recognizing the sub-culture that is us.

Agreed, now if we could get the CCA Clubs to recognize the biggest & best BMW gathering in the world!

BMWCCA National is rumored to be there this year. I've been harassing Satch Carlson to get the club more involved for a couple years now.

I met him in '05 (last year at the dealership). I had no idea who he was since I didn't know what Satch Carlson looked like. He said to me, "Hey, I want you to meet a good friend of mine. Kim, this is Steve. Steve, this is Kim." Turned out to be Steve Dinan.
