2008 BMW X5 Paddle Shift

Hi everyone,

First and Foremost, I have done some research about this topic, but could not find relevant information, and so I have created this topic. I apologize if anyone has ever made this topic, and would gladly allow it to be removed if found so.

So far, all I could find about the paddleshift DIYs for the X5 is on the E53 models. Anyone out here know if we could install paddle shifts on the new E70 X5? I heard they are great and allows us to 'fully understand' the vehicle's transmission. It would be cool to drive the new E70 using the paddle shifts ^^

Perhaps with the advent of the X6, E71, which should surely have a paddle shifter, proper parts & the ingenuity of enthusiasts on this & other related forums will make this conversion possible. I'm hoping the paddle shifter will be an available option on the MY09 E70 X5 xDrive 35d.

Well, I do hope it will be availible on all E70 models.
