DIY alarm install on wagon
Pardon this thread...it should be in the DIY forum but there's not enough traffic there...
I successfully installed the OEM BMW alarm on my 2003 325iT last night. The only problem is the location of the tilt sensor. Using the links to DIY sites the sensor installs in the right rear--this is for sedans only. The mounting location on the wagon is blocked by the rear window washer reservoir. Anyone find another place to mount the tilt sensor? I hooked it up but it's just wedged in there right now... TIA GJ |

Take a look at the very bottom of this:
http://www.bimmerfest.com/members/ka...anelhowto.html Mine came with instructions showing that this is where it goes. Maybe yours didn't. |
