My 530 is in the trunk on the passenger side rear quarter panel. There is a popout and it is behind that.

My 92 525i is under the back seat. There are latches that hold it in place, all you have to do is pull and it will lift off. If you need it for a jump there is a positive post in the engine compartment. It has a black rubber cap with a plus sign mine is on the driver's side toward the windshield

Your first post stated that you had a 95 525 and not a 91 525.

How do you expect people on this forum to help you if you don't post the correct conditions.

I think that they meant that their previous 525 had the battery under the hood. I could be wrong, have been before, will be again.

why is it some people can et along and others just cant.

i have a 95 540, battery is under the back seat, was at the wrecker today, battery under the seat on a 91 525, the 89 i was looking at had the battery under the seat, the m5 i was looking at had the battery under the seat.

find it odd that they would move the battery for for what seems like one car.

where under the hood would the battery fit, even on a 525??

I do have a location under the rear seat for a battery. I would just need a hold down and the correct cables. I think they moved the battery back on the 525i within a year or so of when my car was made.

I'm too sensitive?? If you go back to all the posts, you will see that it was YOU who started calling people Mr. RUDE. I never called you any names.
