Picked up a CPO 2004 3.0 today.

Its a blast to drive, has every feature we wanted, only 44k mi. I'm extremely pleased. We almost purchased a white one on Saturday but it fell through (thankfully) because we ended up with this car which is 10x better.

Yes its an Auto. The wife refuses to learn stick. I have an 01 Audi TT Roadster thats a 5spd M and she attempted to learn, then just gave up.

Is there an IPOD integration available for the 04 X3?

You may want to use dice kit. I have a 2004 X3, and with little work, dice works perfectly in my car.

What do you mean by 10X better just because the color is different? I too am looking for a CPO '05 but how will I know if it is 10X better than different colored X3?

How Much did you pay , if you don't mind saying .. I am looking at a few 2004 X3s for the wife also . Seem to run about $24,000 at the dealer , about $18,000 on Ebay .
Does yours have the Panoramic roof ?

The car was in much better shape. The interior was quite as used and overall the one we purchased just felt tighter. The White X3 was 2.5 and this one is 3.0.

I think you definitely need to drive 4 or 5 different cars that you would be happy to purchase and then pick the best one out of that group. I would waste your time test driving any you wouldn't buy (ex we drove a mystic blue x3 w/ few options that we never would buy because it didn't have ALL of what we wanted.)

It has every option except sport package and nav. You're right on with the 24,000-26,000 for a CPO 2004/some 2005s at the dealer.

In this case the dealer was the best place to purchase because of low rate finance and CPO.

You bought it from VOB didn't ya? I still see the Mystic Blue X3 they've had in stock forever.

Just for info--Last Dec. I paid $23K for a non CPO 2004, 38K miles, prem. and sport option 2 pkg/s BLK/BLK. 3.0i, auto. roof, new tires;Warranty through July 08, Ipod set up,Xenon lights, No nav. In near perfect condition. That's here in Dallas. It was the exact car I wanted and since I only drive around 4K miles a year it was the perfect deal for me. Hope this will help someone getting ready to buy an 04'.
