It worked like a charm. I installed it rathr easily and it works perfectly.

Some idiot back ended me last night. Now I need to replace the bumper and other body work. Oh well at least I could opne my window.

this is great. the rear left window on my 1995 740i stopped working. I was wondering whether this would work for my car too. i am hoping that they have the same mechanism over the reange if their cars.

Sorry, if it was earlier it would! Compair the pics in my instructions or the videos and see if your regulators are simular or different. www.bmwrepairkit.com maybe the X5 is the same in the later years??

Sorry but the repair kit won't work on a 2000 528i, regulators changed part number around the 6/99 build date and the design changed enough that the repair parts in the kit won't fit.

Hey Lance,

I drive a '97 528i and both passenger windows dont work. One goes down several inches while the other slides down and makes a crunching sound when trying to activate. Will the kit be able to fix both and can I have the information in how to get one?
