I have always thought that Seattle was beautiful. It reminds me of how San Francisco was thirty five years ago. In particular, I like the wonderful scenery, the coastal location, and it geographic location - fairly close to Northern Europe by airplane, yet on the Pacific Coast. The San Juan islands are truly remarkable and redefine the concept of the weekend getaway. I have very fond memories of this place, but alas, only as a visitor.
