|
trailer hitch + rear suspension adjustment...huh?
Just looking at this X3 catalogue and on pg 13 it says something to the effect that you get your rear suspension adjusted when you get the trailer tow hitch installed to counteract the additional weight on the towbar. Does anyone know what this consists of?

That is the European tow package. It is a factory option that we can't order.

My pc started typing backwards. Very odd.
--- Option 235. Hmmm. Realoem doesn't list springs for an X3, but I'd guess they change the rear springs. According to real OEM The rest of the suspension parts don't change. There are part numbers for the euro hitch so I guess you could order it.

Thanks Andrew. If it is updated rear springs that permit a greater tow load, I would definitely buy them. Too bad they aren't listed on realoem.
