Dark !

The police out here would have a field day if I had that and attracted their attention...not that I would

I want to tint too, but it's the whole "can't see" over my left shoulder good enough as it is that keeps stopping me....maybe a lighter tint for me...

As long as you can still see at night etc. I like it

Way too dark, especially for a roadster.

Not being able to tint the rear window is the biggest turn-off for me in regards to tinting the windows in a roadster. I just don't think it would look right to have a clear back window with very dark sides.

Trooper magnet. Also, do they check tint at your state inspection?

Too dark. That wouldn't even be legal in Virginia but I do like your wheels!

I like tint but no more than 35% - I would much rather people see ME in my BMW.

But that's just my opinion

Tint on a roadster isn't right. Otherwise, unless its a limo, agree w/ NJRed--35% max but only on coupes or sedans. But its kind of '90s anyway. Especially on a performance car.

Dude... Sorry for baggin' on your car. It's your car and everyone has their our taste. I'm sure a lot of people don't like the looks of mine either. Either way, Z3 Roadsters rock!

Looks good from the side with car color, maybe not so with windows up and top down. I would be shelling out 150 bucks to johnny law here!

Good color, but too dark unless you get some dark rims too.

Vinci,

I think calling a stock Z3 rear window "clear" is pushing it a bit

I've considered tinting the windows on my coupe because tint on a coupe looks awesome, and especially on silver. But I always drive with my windows down anyway, in which case I think it looks funny to have dark rear windows and clear front openings.

35% is certainly not a waste of money. Even really light tints like 50% look great because it really cleans up the look of the car, even if you can still see the interior. For example, this is 50% and looks way better than none at all. If you can ignore the ghetto wheels, that is.
