Anything for BMWs,

I was thinking that it would be cool to have a "race car class" for battle of the bimmers.

Seeing as there was alot of really cool race cars there It would be very cool to have a people's choice race car class.........or something......

FYI, race cars already have their own competition...racing

If you start a class of "coolest" race cars I fear it would degenerate into a class populated by posers (IE: non-fast race cars) with LCD TVs molded into their roll bars or something. At best it would just become a "who has the most mods/spent the most money" competition.

It would be easy to weed out the non-racers using the following requirement:

The car had to have actually competed in a BMW CCA Club Race within the previous 6 months and should pass CCA Race Tech if a tech inspection was performed at Bimmerfest. The racers can self-police to make sure all mods are CCA legal, regardless of class. There's a certain J Stock car that I think could win hands down
