S.I. board -528e ?

Has anyone had their service indicator board (conductor plate) repaired by ProgramaInc's 'Repair and Return' program? They offer a quick turn-a-round in repair.

I'm wondering if they do the 'updates' mentioned by their wholesalers' websites that states that they replace the Ni-Cad batteries with lithium ones and some other types of 'updates' that improve on the original design/operation of board.
Cost of repair? Craftmanship?
My batteries are no longer working properly and I believe this is affecting other electrical things?

BTW- My s.i. board looks fine and the existing batteries look good and clean (at least 6yrs.old; no leaks) but I know (98% sure) they are failing. Re-setting the 'service light' will not last very long. (1986 528e automatic trans; production date requires batteries needed in s.i. board)

I've only heard good things about them. My old board had been neglected so long that the acid from the leaking batteries had corroded many of the connections so I had a dead tach, fuel gauge, instant MPG gauge. Bought one of ebay with Li batteries and everything came back to life! I don't kknow how the old owner was able to drive it without knowing all that info!
