Colored bumper reflectors
Has anybody painted, or replaced with clear (if possible) the reflectors on the wheel wells?

Oh no! Here's another mod my hubby will have to do if he sees this post with a positive response.

This is what I'm trying to do..before BMW I had a Jetta IV and it had very similar reflectors which I had painted at the time I had the OEM ground effects painted, similar to painting a pre-2006 X3's bumpers..it turned out fine..I would probably do this myself if I could get them off the car but I'm not sure if they come off, too bad they have an entirely different bumper in Europe without these, unless these might just pop off and leave a nice clean bumper underneath :P

Bump to an old thread, I'm curious if anyone has done this as a diy project or knows if they simply pop off or not? I need to switch them, but am hesistant as I'm unsure of how to get them off and/or breaking a holding tab of some sort underneath which I cannot see.
