radiator problems

So I may or may not have broken that cute little plastic piece that connects the pressure relief on the radiator to the reservoir. I'm looking into buying a new radiator, but parts for the 83 are kinda scarce. Is it possible to fit a newer model radiator in my car? If so what kind of modifications are necessary? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
