questions about e21

Hi all,

I'm new to the forums and new to e21's. I have a few questions about the e21. I have been driving my 98 323is for a couple years now and love it, but sadly there are not many turbo kits or much mods available for that model in general.

Sooo, I'm looking to purchase a e21. I have been doing a little research about the car and love the look and style. The questions I have are.

1. What is the best year of the 320i to do modding.. especially to put in a turbo

2. I had a VW GTI VR6 Turbo and I bought and installed the kit. I have been looking for turbo kits for the e21 and have come up with nothing, where can I go to find a kit or would i have to put together a kit myself?

3. I know bmw switch from a carburetor to efi during the e21 period, which is better/easier to work with?
