Mein Auto: 4 Chevy's and a Bimmer
Thank my lucky stars!

I’m in the middle lane of 3 and light turns green. My lane turns in to a right turn only about a half mile up the road and I need to stay straight to get back to the pad. The lane on the right of me is a right turn only about 100 yards away in to a strip mall. So I need to get in the left lane before my lane has to turn right. I was a little aggressive on insuring a safe distance from the person on the left lane in hopes of not “Bogarting” in front of him/her in a silver Toyota Camry. Noticed a police car coming the other direction with the word “Sheriff” in big letters on the side of the car just as I change in to the left lane. I lift off the gas pedal right when I saw him as if this would slow the over two ton German built land yacht to somewhere near the speed limit. Look in the rear view mirror and the word “Sherriff” is more visible as he flips a u-turn. Oh crap, buckle up the seat belt like a Ninja in the dark and glance in the rear view again. Doesn’t look like he’s gaining ground. *somewhat relieved* Gotta take a left at the next four way stop and I sneak another peak in the mirror. This sum-beeyotch is right on my a$$! Take a left and the Sherriff follows suit. Doesn’t look like he’s gaining on me but all of the sudden the nose of his car raises and he’s on my bumper and turns the disco lights on. I quickly roll down all of the windows and sunroof, take the first right in a residential street to get off the one lane main road I’m on. Sheriff is very cautious as he walks up and I don’t blame him. I keep my hands on the steering wheel and he comes and greats me with “do you know why I stopped you”? I reply, I know Officer,….my tags aren’t on but I have them in my glove box. True statement. He says “no, you were going 68 in a 40”. I replied “I really didn’t have a need to speed officer but did you see the black Xterra that just ran the red light and going extremely fast just ahead of me? *true statement* He says no, but I did catch you. I smiled and said – I’m in no situation to argue and take full responsibility - permission to dig in my pocket for my driver’s license and glove box for proof of insurance and registration? He says thank you for asking, please proceed. Little did I know a second squad car shows up with the same letters on the car and he’s on the passenger side with his right hand on his piece as I turn to reach for the glove box. I don’t mind and totally understand – can never be too safe. Couldn’t find my current insurance card but had old ones. He says no biggie, if you find it just wave it out the window. So he goes back to the car to run my stuff. What seems like forever - I’m left sitting thinking if it’s been past 2 years since I got my last moving violation. Here in Phoenix, you can go to “Traffic School” (think it’s 8 hours) and it will not show up on your driving record but if you get popped within two years of your last violation – you cannot take the course. Then I have to tell the wifey what happened and that’s not sitting well with me. I’m calling my self the worse things in the book. What an idiot I am! I see Mr. Officer walking back and I quickly tell him I can’t find my current insurance card but I know I’m covered. He cuts me off and says it’s ok, Edward you’re free to go and hands me back my license, registration and expired insurance card. I quickly apologized and he said not a problem, have a good day, Edward.

Moral of the story – take dump at the club house of the golf course before you head home!

lol at the "two ton German built land yacht "

hey next time you might as well get as much distance as possible especially if you can get out of sight (hill, planned, signaled turns, just "making" a light) after you think he's spotted you, just to make sure that he "really" wants you, if its borderline or hes tired sometimes they will let it go.

LOL - didn't think of that. I was trying my Jedi mind control on him but I must've been low on batteries.

V1 wont stop ya from instant on radar anyways, I have a laser jammer on my company truck, saved me at least 3 times from huge tickets. Paid for itself after the first save of 140 in a 100km

Radar isnt being used as much as before at least up here in Ontario.

Dual Head LPP straight from the UK, about $600 for Dual heads.
Search youtube for laser jammers or LPP (laser Pro Park)
If I get stopped its a parking assist system, as it does do that as well.
Its not my fault it screws up police Lidar guns.... hehe

The LPP is an EXCELLENT system. Dual heads is the way to go, kick in a little more and get the Cheetah wireless kit, and you can install it in less then 30 minutes with no drilling!

x2, also look up LI (Laser Interceptor) their product looks good as well. I might get that for my car since I already have the LPP on the other ride.
