New Camera!

Oh I see it's picture time. Here are some shots I got with this nice P&S camera I just picked up for traveling. It's a canon SX100IS. Here are a few shots from me and my girl's trip to jamaica a few weeks ago.

LOL!! Great pic! You've got me looking on ebay for that lens! They gave me a free 55-200 Quantaray-non VR w/ I bought the camera. How far away were you?

My weapon of choice is Olympus' E-330 slr with an articulating view finder. Most if my subject shots are of cars. Or up skirts! LOL! The articulating view finder avoids me laying on the ground or using a step stool.

Also had to have a wide angle for them closed quarters. Opted for an 11-22 because Oly's deeper wide (7-14) was 14-hundough.

Very nice set up & pics! I noticed you didn't have a filter. Do you use them or prefer not to? If so, which?

You didn't take that first pic with that Nikon, did you?
If you did, you must have forgotten to turn VR on. We should be able to read that fine print.

No, that was w/ the iPhone Subsequent pics were the Canon SD630 P&S

We stayed at sandals couples resort in montego bay. Most of my memories will come from the 400 some shots I took because I was wasted most of the time.
It was our first time and we are thinking about going back before the summer is up. Thanks for the compliment on the girlfriend she loves the camera.

That was fresh out the box. But did get filters - opted for a UV and clear protector/filter from Heliopan.
