91 M-Tech seat fabric

Boys & girls, need your help. Have obtained 91 325is M-Tech convertible. Very rare - has Motorsport Evo II grey cloth inserts with tri-color motorsport pattern that runs on the diagonal in the middle of the leather sport seats. I want to completely restore this baby and I need enough material to do the front sport seats, rear seat and rear speaker cloth - so I need alot. I want to hear from anybody that knows of a source or information on how to find a source anywhere in the world. I've heard its going to be hard to find, but I am really serious about this. Somewhere in Germany a little old man is sitting on a box of this stuff. Anyone who thinks they know anything along this line please let me hear from you. Thanks! GTSBMW325is.

Eric (http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread.php?t=29759) has a lot of this fabric - he is the one that is having it produced. He is coordinating with Kevin (creativeoptions.net) who makes the kits for owner installations. Both the fabric & craftsmanship are top notch.

Hey there, Im Erik, The one with the repro fabric, if you would like me to send you out a sample I can do that, just so you can see how it looks next to your original.

Erik - that would be great if you could send a sample. As I said, I'm going to need enough material to do the center sections of the 2 front sport seats and the center sections fo the back seat, plus the rear speaker cloths on this convertible. The door panels on it are almost totally unfaded and nice and bright - so hopefully they would be okay. Let me know any info you have on figuring out how much I might need and pricing. Thanks so much. Send sample to: Gary Thompson 108 S Patterson Drive, Moore, Oklahoma 73160.

ERIK - Receipt of M-Tech fabric sample

This stuff looks pretty dead-on. I took a sample from the under side of the seat where the sun has never shown and it matches up real well. So based on what you say I'll need how would we proceed? e-mail is gthompson15@cox.net
Love that picture of your car - the M-Tech looks good in silver! Mine is Brilliant Red.
It's cool that we share this interest, so keep in touch. GT

That was posted almost 3 and a half YEARS ago. Your best bet is to PM the guy. If he's still around, he'll get the message direct rather than you expecting him to come back and read that old thread. His last posting in any forum here was over a year ago
