I was maybe thinking about getting the new ECS E39 brake kit...
So i did.
Its nice. Those 6-pot brembo monoblocs are sweet.

Nice! Keep us posted with the install. Good choice on going for the ECS 2 piece rotors I really like those.
What wheels are you running right now? Do you have any 17s you can test fit with that setup? I ask because I got some lightly used 6pot calipers off a 135i (same as yours, just grey) and a bracket made by a member over at the M5 board. But when I test fit the setup it would not clear my 17" style 42s and I would like to at least have the option of running 17s instead of only 18s. I just heard about the ECS kit and they say their kit will clear most 17s and show a pic of some style 32s. I am wondering if it is a difference in the wheels or the ECS bracket vs the bracket I have.

Oh yeah and on that - easy choice - dropping a grand plus on the kit, the extra hundo for the 2 piece and then having slightly lighter and slightly cheaper to replace discs later is a no brainer & win win...
