I'm usually good at navigating web sites, but Tischer's has me beat. I can't find the spare on their site after trying various searches. Tried some old links in this thread, they go to the site's home page but not to the tire. In contrast, the other two sites I found the tire in under 10 seconds. I'm not inclined to reward Tischer for not making it easy. Any one with experience with other sites?

Where do I find a repair manual for 2011 335 ix coupe? Seems like everyone only goes to 2010. I believe my coupe has N55 engine vs N54 for sedan. Is this correct?
Thank you

Which tire do you guys think is better. There's a ~$45 difference between the Continental and the Kenda.

Who ever heard of a Kenda tire? Seems like a no brainer.

Nothing wrong with Kenda. I actually have their tires on my Schwinn Twinn tendem cruiser. I think some of the spare tire kits sold are configured with a Kenda tire. The only source I found was Honda Part # 42751-KEN-002 (135/80R17) which I think is the spare tire for Oddessy Minivans (this is based on part descriptions from online searches). If its good for a heavy minivan, it should be fine for my E93. Anyways, I called a few dealers to source the part locally, no one had it, so I just ordered the Conti CST from tirerack.

exactly, in fact, they specialize in spare tires and bikes, quality and thread appears better than the Conti.

If interested in the spare do check out

Changing Tires

Hello I have a 2007 328xi and I am wondering what the process would be or how diffucult it would be to change from RFT's? Also I am hearing a clanking noise coming from the rear passenger side at times, it happens most when making turns. Thanks for any help I can get.

Ahhhh...the process? Pretty simple.
Go to your local tire store and get a non-RTF tire and while your there, have them diagnose the clanking noise.

Ordered this kit when I ordered my Michelin Pilot Super Sport go-flats. I (thankfully) received the well-packed order on the same day that the tires were installed.

All fits as advertised and the spare stores neatly in the trunk of my 335is. Highly recommended.

Got it to work. Thanks, it must have been my connection. Not sure I want to spend $350 for the spare. I may go with a plug kit and a compressor. I've got those sitting around now.
Thanks

Thumbs up

I went with a full spare, picked up a jack and wheel cheep. It takes up a lot of room in the trunk but I think it's worth it. I keep a can of flat fix handy too.

The Genuine BMW E9x Sun Visor Kits are located on this page just shy of 1/2 way down the page. There's an option in the dropdown menu for 'Side Window Kit - E92 Coupe' available.

If you stay in populated areas, that may work. If not, I would add a prayer book too.

In July, I had a punctured tire in the east side of Glacier National Park on a Saturday afternoon. (Fortunately in the Benz, not in the 328i!) Its an giant Indian reservation with no towns to speak of, and nothing open on the weekends.

If I had not had a mini-spare tire, I would be hanging around the Indian Casino for 3 days waiting for another tire to be shipped in. As it was, I had to drive 120 miles to Costco in Missoula, MT for a replacement tire on Sunday.
