selling my 1988 528e, black, auto and under 160k miles

Hey guys,

I'm new here to see if there's any interest in my car I'm trying to sell.

1988 528e. Black with natural tan interior. Automatic. It's got under 160,000 miles. I've only owned it since March but I'm going back to graduate school and need to unload it. As an owner, I've put about $900 worth of repairs into it to make it reliable as a daily driver. Original sell price to me was $1995.

I'm asking for $2,400.

The bad stuff:

It was a NY car its whole life until I bought it and moved it to Virginia. So because of that it's got aesthetic issues. A Cracked driver seat and a hood splash that ate through the paint are two biggest things. I can explain further in an email if you're interested.

Good things:

-New OEM center rack steering column
-New Bosch O2 sensor
-New OEM coolant sensor
-original paint besides the hood splash is in good condition.
-interior is flawless except for cracks in the drivers seat, no stains in the carpet, steam cleaned when I bought the car
-all electrics work (except headrests, those never work)
-it's under 160,000 miles
-I put two new tires on it, the other two were brand new when I bought
-broken plastic AT selector replaced with OEM leather selector

All this car needs is a new owner who's enthusiastic about e28's. With a little TLC this car will last forever. It's been my reliable daily driver since I bought it, but I don't need a car where I'm going to school.
