springs
thinking of going lower but wanna go with spring/shocks setup instead of coilovers.
whats the lowest you know that springs can take you? 2/2.5 inches lower? reason why no coilovers is i think springs/shocks would be more reliable/performance than coilovers. i need some opinions! thanks

how about struts? tryina get a nice combo of springs/shocks to go lower and improving performance

i have koni sport which are adjustable, i plan on buying H&R sport springs.

There are two different H&R sets, the Sport set lower it like 1.3 in the front and .75 in the rear, the Race set lower a little more..
The Eibach set lowers it like none... your saggy oem springs are lower than an Eibach set... B+G is probably the BEST spring I have ever used on a car, never used them on a BMW though- THEY ARE THE LOWEST on an E39 at 1.6 Front 1.0 Rear for a non sport model.
