I use to be in upstate NY. One thing I don't miss is lake effect snow. It's winter right now but it's 78 degrees and sunny .

Nice pics! I love the resort. We would always rent house up on the hill. The ones on the hill overlooking the resort. Just to the left out of your last picture.

All this money you invest in your already exp cars.....is it worth it ? mods really increase the worth of the car by about $0!

That is about the going rate for a new grill. I would go that route. I bought mine used for $100 but I need to refinish it so it might cost me more in the end but be gloss black.

As far as the mods I listed all of them in the first post. The next mod will be the custom exhaust with the magnaflows. I installed the AC pedals this weekend and the OEM ipod adapter yesterday. I also installed the coilovers this weekend but I'm still waiting for my spacers for the front. So basically the car isn't driveable right now.

I know it diesn't increase the value and in some cases can decrease the value. It's valuable to my enjoyment of my ride and that is all that matters. Everyone likes different things and there is no wrong way.

Well here is the update I posted on e60:

I installed my KW v3 coilovers on Sunday. I test fit the rims to see the drop and check clearance. My 10mm spacers should be here this Friday. So this weekend everything should be all set. I live in a high rise condo and can't work on my car in there so I had to do it on the side of the road behind my building where there is little to no traffic and a big space for parking (I live in the middle of downtown). I set all the compression and rebound settings at 40% to start.

getting started:

Box one side done:

Coilover installed:

New rims on and adjusted for fitment:

The front rims are touching the spring perch and the spacers are needed which I already knew. The stock wheels are back on but still might be rubbing so the car is sitting until the spacers get here Friday. Well at least I installed the OEM iPod interface today which works great.

They are still blue. I don't want to spend all the money to refinish them before I test fit them and make sure everything is ok. They are monaco blue right now and you can hardly tell they are blue unless direct sunlight is on them and you can pic up the color a little.

Your current 08 M6 doesn't look like the one in your signature - different wheels an color? Did you get another one?
