This is a good time to go to Europe.

The dollar keeps getting stronger. The dollar was .73 Euro when I was in Europe in August. Wouldn't surprise me if its .90 by the time I pick up my car in April.

1.00 USD=0.875347 EUR
US Dollar***8596;Euro
1 USD = 0.875347 EUR1 EUR = 1.14240 USD

Actually pound, krona, and koruna are all down against the dollar while Swiss franc is up.

I hear you; I hope it continues in that direction all the way through October when we have a European vacation. The change has already save me $50/night at one of our hotels (Four Seasons Sultanahmet Istanbul). If the slide continues...it would be awesome.

Yes - indeed it is. See:

Traveling to Europe soon? Consider bringing an empty suitcase to carry home all of your purchases. The euro has dropped precipitously against the dollar over the past year to $1.146 and shows signs of achieving parity.

It was only a few years ago that the euro was at $1.45 and it was at $1.36 at the beginning of 2014....

Bring the price of a beer down below $5.00 a pint and I'll be right over.

Planning early May ED, so this is looking good. And hopefully fuel prices are dropping in Europe that way they are dropping here.

I'm spending all of April in Europe and looking forward to the stronger dollar. Don't think I'll bring home a suitcase full of "stuff", but it does make it cheaper while you are there.

Yes, it's very exciting. My hotel rooms are getting less expensive by the day and that means more money for chocolate.

So you've been???

We've heard! A fellow of mine has called it the top Four Seasons Hotel in the world (which says a lot!). It's won countless awards.

I am super, super stoked about it.

Yes, a few years ago, en route to Munich for Oktoberfest. You SHOULD be stoked; it is a great, great place to stay. They will take care of you.

Well, I think it might be now. Courtyard Munich beer is either 3.50 or 4 Euro. Just had 4 beers in Prague with my dad, total cost was 254Kr or about 11 USD.
