Don't worry, the U.S. dollar will bounce back, and the canadian dollar will be at $1.50-1.60 again, and you can purchase the BMW for a 'fair' price again.

With all of your new found oil wealth, Munich must have concluded that you can well afford the price premium.

Be thankful you don't live in Singapore. A friend of mine looked at getting a 335i Coupe in Singapore there and it cost S$182,000 or US$128,000...and this does not include their registration and tags which is sold by lottery and costs thousands of dollars.

What's the point of a 335i on that island. So you can do a cross country trip in 5 minutes?

I believe we can fix this problem for you fairly easily.

(1) Start rumor that Canadian govt is developing WMD and has used chemical weapons against, say, Alberta.

(2) Make pleas to US to be liberated from the cruel rulers.

(3) After U.S. invasion and Canada becoming 51st or 51st through 58th state(s) or whatever, you can buy at USA prices!

You're welcome!

Y'all get more standard features in CA, such as heated seats and other things. At least you have a 323i.

BMW purposely charges less in the US than almost any other country in order to sell in vast quantities. However, that strategy may soon (hopefully) change.

I looked at the starting price and options for a 325i sedan in Norway, home of some of the most expensive prices in the world. And it starts at...............499,300NOK. Or about $92.150 USD. And unlike Canada, it doesn't come with more standard features.
