After market rims for X6 50

Have a Tasman Green X6 50 on order. Just curious as to any owners of the X6 BMW if they have installed any after market rims on their X6? What type of rim? And if any pictures. Iam currently looking at the Modulare 3 rims 22"/25/335 for the rear and 22"/30/290 for the front. Do any members have on their X6 any aftermarket rims they would like to share with me which look good on the X6

Will you be selling yout old wheels/tires? If so i would be interested.

Yes i will be selling them. They will be the 20" from the Sport package. I will keep you updated. The reason for change is i just want to fill the Wheel well with maximum allowable rim/tire

Have you had 22" wheels on an SUV before?

Be prepared for poor ride comfort and wheels that will easily get damaged over potholes.

You would be far better off sticking with 20's and just lowering the truck.

Sir,
I just placed a order for the car today. I am interested in a "summer" set of wheels/tires. I tried to see which 20" wheels come with the 8 cylinder, but there were 2 styles and were both listed as optional. Could you identify which wheels they are and if you are serious about selling, when do you plan to get the car.

The large wheel wells need 24's to look right, if you dont wanna get 24's, then stick with the stock. Losing ride quality is a given, but gaining the bling factor is worth the trade off.

Thanks for your input, appreciated. But I have ordered the 10" x 22" front and 11.5" x 22" for the rear already. The wheels ordered are the Modulare M3 Chrome. As for lowering the vehicle does the warranty get cancelled? Not to experienced with lowering of a vehicle. Sent the link of the Modulare. Let me know what you think.

Makes no sense to me. Why buy an SUV than? large wheels and lowering removes any towing or utility. Plus it looks very ghetto.

You should have gotten a 5 series instead. You are essentially making an X6 into one.

Dont want to lower the vehicle just replying to a previous post you made with 22" rims, your probably right. In regards to SUV....well iam from Canada, winters sometimes tough to get traction, love to ski. In regards to the vehicle just want something different than what everyone else has. First time owning a BMW and just moved back to Canada from the United Arab Emirates.

Totally agree, the guy that I bought the new X6 "Y" spokes from; put 22" KHans on, he is regretting it already hard ride on anything but very smooth roads. I paid £800.00 for the set brand new with the RF tyres
