New F10 Spy Video on the Nurburgring

"The BMW 5-series began to reveal some of its eventual styling a couple of months ago when it shed part of its disguising revealing part of its signature grille. We can now enjoy this model beating down the Nurburgring in a new video caught by our spy photographers".

Looks like they cover the entire test car with black plastic, except for the lights, front grill, and wind shield/windows??

The article on worldcarfans site says it's a sping of 2010 release as an 11 model, but these things are rarely on time. My guess is it's a late fall of 10 release.

damn, still ugly. I hope thats a bad artists rendering because the back raises up too high, the head lights taper completely wrong brake ducts are too big, ugh, bmw keeps going the wrong way. the one good car is the e92 which i LOVE but HATE the new 7 and e60

Ugly. The best looking fives were built b/w '96 - '03.

E60 is very good looking... i hope the F10 is not very "japanese" looking as the pics suggest.

i dig e12s, e28s, e39s, and the e60s.

e34s and this new one they're making isnt very attractive.

Whats wrong with the e34?? I must say a stock e34 525i is pretty bland, but I've seen some very tasteful e34's, and the e34 m5 has got to be one of the nicest looking bmw's ever made.
Just my opinion though.

New 7 is terrible looking, the grill looks ridiculous... big and bland

From the rear it looks like a 4 door version of the Z4 coupe or the X6. The line and rear window slant to the trunk and rear lights.

it looks like a lexus... a step back in my opinion.

The video was posted in AUg 2008....looks like an older video and the car maybe the new 7 all masked up...i hope i am wrong on this

...about it being the F01.

This video was actually made about a week before it was posted up on WorldCarFans.
The new 7 had been already been 'exposed' around the 4th of July, so I doubt that BMW would have run it
around the track still disguised. Its way too short to be the F01 anyway....

Look at the length of the rear doors. I would have guessed a new 7 series. Either way, it is interesting. The slope of the rear window looks like it has been increased along the lines of the 6 series...
