Window Washer Fluid SLOWWWWW leak
Okay, so I have a washer fluid leak that I cannot find.
Here's what happens: I fill the washer fluid tank - no leaks. In one or two days after filling the tank, the washer fluid tank is empty again. Does anyone know how much is costs around to fix this at either bimmer dealership or regular shop? |

It's quite common for it to leak right around the pump (the pump is attached to the tank). A new pump includes the new seal and everything. Of course, you could use some epoxy or something and probably just fix it just as well. You just need to pull the tank out, which is very easy.

I just replaced the pump on mine. It was fairly easy, and there is a DIY with pics if you do the search. One thing I would do different, is get the BMW pump rather than saving a few bucks on a generic one because of splicing the wires due to the harness.
I believe the pump was under $20, I would probably just replace it. |

I replaced the o-ring on mine and that fixed the leak.

Do you have headlight washers? On previous e46 there was small hole in the driver's side line that caused the same thing.

Very easy DIY, about 15-20 minutes if you work as slow as I do
