Z3 Production numbers (by month/year)?

I am interested in the Z3 monthly and yearly production numbers. Were Z3s for the US market assembled in So Carolina? Thanks in advance.

BMW never released production numbers.

US, but not worldwide, sales numbers have been tracked. If you ever find anything, post your results, inquiring minds would like to know.

All Z3's and Z4's were made in South Carolina, regardless of final market. Only the production figures for the US were reported. A guy by the name of Fred Meloan used to post them here and on roadfly, and probably a few other forums. Google him and see what you find. He posted as FDMeloan on this board.

Not to be contrary, but Fred reported sales not production figures.

You are correct. It's been so long since I've seen Fred's posts that I forgot.
