Sorry bee, I don't inhabit over here much since I retired as the Official welcomer. I got my beast in August and I am still grinning ear to ear gettin my 9 mpg.

Are going to be at BF09? My ride will be there. I see you have a LMB. I heard that the LMB is second fastest next to the BWM.

Oh, that is SO wrong in SO many ways. I have a BWM because I am secure in my masculinity.

This.

I learned the cheap and OEM way to fix my MAF problem there.

I also learned the low Gen 13 BT volume fix there.

And the procedures for taking out the NAV screen to install the AUX.

M5 for Mid $20s

I paid mid $20K on ebay 3 years ago for 70K pristine 2001 M5. I would think you could do a little better. M5 is WAY above the 540 you have. I had a 740, e36 M3, '99 540, and my son has a manual '97 540 and my wife has an '05 545. The M5 is in a different class. I now have 112K miles. Every one of them has been fun. It has been incredibly reliable. It is hard to consider another car to replace it. New M3, Porsche Turbo, new M5? Not sure, but for the money, the e39 M5 cannot be beat. My pic can't post as I'm new here but it can be seen at: http://uswheelremanufacturing.com/

They powder coated my wheels....

Man that is low. I feel sorry for the previous owner. Paying all that money, and not enjoying it. Nice for you to be able to enjoy an almost new M beast

It had 13,200 when I bought it about 6 weeks ago. The previous owner was glad to hear that I plan to drive it. And I do!
