OFHG replacement

I have gathered all tools and part needed for the job. I have also watched several DIY videos and am gettign ready to tackle the job.

Is there anythign else I should do while its apart? Also how much time should i budget for this job?

If the hose to the VANOS is covered with oil like mine was, I'd replace it. Time... all depends on if you've your a good mechanic. If I was doing it again, I'd plan on 2-3 hrs., I'm average at best.

This was a good 6 hour job for me. Mainly due to the alternator going back in. Was a total ******!! Cudnt get the alternator to line up on the re-stall. Was about ready to put a 3 lb hammer to it when it finally popped in place! Very straight forward DIY though! Tip, when u take bolts out of OFH (6) use a piece of cardboard to stick the bolts in. That way you know where bolts go. They are different lengths. Good luck!
