NOTICE - In the interest of fair moderating on the E65/66 board -

For those who are BimmerFest veterans, I think you know I try to moderate in a fair and reasonable manner. (I hope you agree with that, even if you have disagreed with moderation actions I have taken.) Remember, I am simply a BMW enthusiast like all of you, a person who really likes their car(s).

Please do not use posts here on the E65/66 board to complain about BimmerFest and/or encourage people to leave. (Everyone has been pretty good about this, and I appreciate how everyone has been keeping the 7er board on-topic with mainly 7er and BMW related posts.) There is a “site feedback” board where you can express your concerns and complaints to the Site Administrators.

Having said that, in the interest of fair and reasonable moderation (and so none of you get into trouble doing this) you may find SanHonda22 here:

LINK.

Of course, linking to other competing sites is frowned upon. But, I cannot prevent you from leaving BimmerFest, and at the same time I do not want to be accused of censoring you if you wish to know more about where some of the veterans may have gone. I welcome you to check it out. If you like it, great, please share your knowledge and camaraderie with others. But (so as long as you don’t get in trouble or banned) please feel welcome to stay here, visit both, or even come back after a while if you like what BimmerFest has to offer.

Again, I say this in the interest of being a fair moderator. You, the membership, is what makes the E65/66 what it is.

That's private, it's not for me to disclose someone else's situation. But that's why I posted the link... feel free to ask him.

Sunny is right. This thread is the best I can do to mitigate the situation.

And just so you know, I will only keep this thread open for about a day...

m wong, you are still highly respected in the 7er section... it's unfortunate that others may not be as understanding or down to earth as you (supervision staff) ... just know though, whatever happens, you have my respect!

i'm also sure others feel the same and agree with me...

I was not going to reply to this thread because I don't believe in for the lack of a better word butt-kissing but I do thank you for being a fair moderator and am happy to be a member of such a great BMW enthusiast forum.

You are right, I wasn't looking for such praise. While the nice comments are appreciated, they are certainly not necessary, and that was not the reason for starting this thread.

Seems like a good time to close up the thread. Thanks all, for your understanding of this sensitive subject!
