Yeah, I'll make my return to da show after an absence last year. Hopefully will lead caravan again from San Diego with a new BMW.

As a S.B. local I am super stoked that it will be staying in town. All the talk last year about needing to find a bigger venue, and I didn't even consider the polo grounds. Glad it didn't end up at the Ventura fairgrounds. This is definitely a step up from previous locations.

I'm really going this year seems cool to be there

This year will be my first for me (I'm 19), and I will be taking my younger brother (16) so he can start loving bimmers at a young age, cause that's what's good for him. Plus it will be some nice bonding time and the journey down. Can't wait!

Saw the picture of the entrance, i hope it would not be like last year with one entrance and 500 cars trying to squeeze in the small entrance; this can create a traffic jam all over.

That thought crossed my mind, too. I think there is a second entrance, but it leads through the condos and it wouldn't surprise me if it were off limits to avoid annoying the residents. Fortunately and unlike the fairgrounds, the site is a good mile off the freeway with long, low traffic approaches from both the North and the South. If there is congestion at the entrance, it should be possible to have people pull to the side of the road and feed in slowly without creating a nightmare for anyone else trying to use the road.

I think the highlight are the caravans. Guys, do it right this time from the north, south, and east.

Las Vegas will be there again. Hopefully the weather will be as great as last year, as this is one of the most beautiful spots on the left coast.

saw the post and this is definitely something that would be fun to do... hopefully you can get a good amount of people to make it. How long do you estimate the drive to be? will we be basically circling around and coming back to the polo club?

Can't wait to get to bimmerfest for the 2nd straight year from missouri, loved all the bimmers.

Your best bet would be Carpenteria. We are staying at a B & B there.
