E39 (1997 - 2003)

Best shop manual for diesel BMWs?
Greetings, fellow denizens!
I'm interested in opinions as to the best reference manual for my 530D. I see that the Bentley books are highly-regarded on this forum, but the Bentley E39 book only covers 525i, 528i, 530i, and 540i. Surely there must be some reference out there with information about the M57 engine, n'est pas?

Just a heads up in case you don't get any/many responses...most here are from the USA...and we didn't get the M57 engined e39s in this market (probably the reason for its absence in the Bentley). So any reply will likely come from someone who lives in another part of the world.

Check Haynes. I believe they are in the UK, and may have a manual on the diesel.

Buy the TIS CD on ebay for $9.99. It has diesel info in there.
