330ci tire size options

Is it possible to put 235/40-17 tires all the way around on 17" x 7.5 front and 17" x 8.5 rear?

The tire diameter is a mite small, and 235 is a bit wide for a 7.5 (see Akakubi's thread about this in the Wheel/Tire forum) but theoretically this is possible.

I ran 235/40/17 Yokohama A-032R (R-compound) on my rear stock rims (17x8.5) on the track for one day with no problems.
My front were 225/45/17.

As far as 235/40/17 on 17x7.5, I arbitrarily looked up a Yokohama tire specs and this size is only approved for 8" - 9.5" rims.
