I like your banners in the garage! Great looking cars btw, both stances are killer! I bet the neighbors think you're with some secret agency though.

Another from Saturday's autoX:

The new Magnaflow exhaust was installed this afternoon, and it sounds much more aggressive than the stock exhaust. I'll have to make a clip. I also had my brake fluid, tranny fluid, and diff oil changed this morning. It will go in Monday for a clear bra, and I need to take it back to the body shop to have a couple of things corrected. There isn't much else this car needs at this point, other than a twisty road.

How big of a difference did the brake fluid do?

Not that much in my case. It's something that should be changed every two years (edit: probably more often if you track the car, but I don't track mine.). Mine was last changed in April 2008.

It sounds good man. Not obnoxious but yet it sounds aggressive. I know you can't notice any hp difference, but was the Magnaflow lighter than the stock exhaust?

Thanks, and I agree. The sound seems to be fairly quiet at freeway speeds too, but I haven't gone for more than a few miles on the freeway yet. According to a couple of posts in a group buy thread on e46fanatics mentioned by Jeff (jvr826), the exhaust weighs in around 45-46 pounds as compared to 70 pounds for the stock exhaust. It's rather nicely made, too.

Yeah really nice, wish i had the money and the time to play with mine, where i am at, all the parts are just too damn expensive and a waste of money due to REALLY bad roads. (

Things always seem to get worse before they get better. Hopefully this is true in my case.

Hopefully next weekend my car will be in the paint booth! Are you guys are as excited as I am!?!

Surface prep is everything, so keep at it. It will pay off

And I'm glad my insurance company paid someone else to do all that work on my car. I'll hoist a tall cool one in honor of your suffering

Although someone who hates cars got near my roof and scratched it up while it was in the body shop. I went over it with my Porter Cable and my most aggressive polishes the other day and I couldn't clean it up. I need to go back to the body shop and get them to fix it. I think I also need to add a more aggressive polishing compound to my collection of detailing supplies.

Fresh paint is definitely one way to make your car WAY better! BTW, what's the verdict on the stripes oh Ryan-san?

Thanx for the ! I drank a few tall ones myself (after of course).
That sucks about your roof. You sound pretty nonchalant about it, and I commend you for that. I would be flying off the hinges! I hope you/they get the scratches out.
