LOL tell me about it, I got into an argument that lasted 3 days with my wife when she saw the car. She said "I will never sit in that car", well after she sat in it, now she won't come out.

^^^Hiding your dope in a crown royal bag doesn't fool the cops into thinking it's alcohol, somehow they just know. Trust me. On a serious note, I see a lot of wires but I have no idea what's going on in there.

Anyways here's some of my progress on the new paint job. I ended up having to strip the hood and roof and laying down some fresh primer.







I still have a long way to go!

Your painting the car your self aswell?

^^^I'm not scared to spray primer, but I don't think I'll be spraying the actual color and clear. The guy who will be painting my car was at the house, he mixed the primer and was coaching me on how to apply it. But, when it comes time for color and clear, the car's going to be flat bedded over the professional's shop. I'll be there, but I'm too scared of messing up to actually do any spraying then. I might though, who knows. And FWIW, the guy is the head tech at the shop that does all the body and paint repairs for Asheville BMW.

Done. the new one is mounted with the help of a pocket knife, newspaper and two tea spoons. Very easy job.

This last picture I was going to my friends Bday and decided to pay for valet parking.
The valet decided to park my car next to the worthy cars to be next to mine? lol. Felt pretty cool that they treated as if it was that nice.

Thanks man, I want to customize it, but with law school in the near future i don't really have money at this point and it's pretty spotless as is so it'll last.. yours is looking real sweet as well im jealous
