haha, yeah. i'm a tech and only a couple guys drive toyota/lexus products because we know what they're really like... garbage. but hey, it keeps my pockets full the sc430 is a pretty terrible design, it has a nice potentially powerful v8 thrown into an obese car. even the wheels are heavy.. especially with the stupid runflats. but i guess their aim was a touring coupe.. an overpriced touring coupe.

but i can't wait for the valve spring recall to start. thatll keep me busy for the next couple months.

Sexy vert! I have seen the M6 wheels tried on other cars and the result is often, IMO, not good but it works somehow with your car.

Unless you love the look of that bra, why don't you try the 3M Venture Shield for rock chip protection, would clean up the front end alot...

Thanks "guys" for the compliments. Yeah, I had the stock 17's on it for about a week and I did not like the way it looked at all. So I started looking for rims. However, I did not want to go aftermarket. So I was looking at differ BMW rims (18's and 19's) then I ran across these on the local Craigslist and had to have them. The only problem is there replicas and are very heavy. So they slowed the car down a great deal. Although I love speed, I really like the look much better than the stocks I had. Lowering the car a couple inches helped as well. When it was stock height the 19's looked to big. Now, I think it sits a lot nicer. Oh yeah the bra well, that's because the front is already chipped pretty bad (bra hides it). So one of these days I'll paint it and then use the 3M Venture Shield. Again, thanks guys for the compliments.

This is back in the day when I picked up the car... since then only bad stuff has happened to her (hit and run, oxidation, a black hole of a dent...). Terrible when bad things happen to a good car

Maybe you should save those rims from a life of torture then and trade with me!

Why is it that I find myself liking the prefaclift front bumper more than mine? I guess it carries a more "classy" or "exotic" look to it....either way, I like the car Sabiowi.

Sigh, I'm hoping my luck changes and hopefully that'll lead to a thicker wallet too.

Thanks though! You've got a pretty solid ride too!

FWIW, I used to have those wheels on my car. The 72M wheels were the 18" wheel option for 2002 and 2003 cars. They are a serious PITA to keep clean (lots of little corners where crud could collect), but they did look good. I sold mine to Shafe after I bought new wheels.

Agreed on the pre-facelift bumper

Nice pics and group of cars MMV.

Really like the 5er and his wheels. I want M5 wheels so bad, I'm just not sure they'd look good on my car.

Here's some pictures of my current E46, just starting on it.
Changed the hood and front bumper and added a lip in the back as spoiler
Also Installed 19" Rims 235/30/R19 in front and 265/30/R19 in the back
Let me know what you think

I think it looks pretty aggressive and good, but here's one thing i am picky about***********:
The wheels would have looked better if the spokes were not that thin (narrow). The rather thin spokes and the 19" size (I think 18" is the best size for 3-coupes as far as looks go) reveal a lot of "empty" space between the spokes and on outside of the rotor. (you can see what i mean in the 2nd pic from left, on top row). That never looks good to me. I think 18" wheels and thicker spokes would look better because you won't see so much empty space behind the wheels and the rotors would fill that space better. It just gives a "fuller" look.
That said, congrats on choosing 5 spoke wheels - that's the best number of spokes.
Other than the above mentioned "empty space" around the rotors, I really like your coupe

I don't like the LED tails. But I would like to see the undercarage of your car to see how the exhaust work was done.
