Well, you can spend your money 4 ways for start

1. Repairs
2. Lighting (clear corners, clear side markers, led tail lights, angel eyes, etc)
3. Front bumper

www.jlevisw.com look under bmw-e46-lighting and find the one for your car.

diy can be found on www.bimmian.com at the top i think. my internet is super slow at work so I can't help much right now

Lighting!! I'd go the smoked route though.

I like your wheels and your bumper is in good shape, so keep those for awhile. Mechanical work is going to be necessary(at some point), so keep extra $$.

Today I washed my car and cleaned the interior, nothing special, juts the weekly wash.
I also removed the splash shield and cleaned it. I also found where the rattle was coming from when stopped in drive, and fixed it. Also saw that the only thing which is leaking coolant is the expansion tank and i'm wondering if I should replace the upper and lower hoses, those are in good shape.

I also...de-badged....I like it better without the badge. If worse comes to worse I can put them back on. Pictures taken with iPhone's wimpsy camera.

yeah..I was at the stealership last fall to buy some..I was going to get the BMW Roundel from the front and the BMW plate cover for the back..(Total: $80)..Just as I was about to buy them, the person at the counter tells me in MN you need both plates. I got mad and left.haha

Don't feel bad, I still have Subaru plate holders on mine (how wrong is that?). I'm not putting my nice ones on until I know it's not going to snow anymore.
