Thanks, I got them from another E28 enthusiast. They are BBS RA.

I ended up going with some Style 5's. They seemed to be about the same.

They are, only difference is that Style 5s have caps that cover the lugs. Both are great looking wheels. The 3rd pick down in the pics I posted I have 16" style 5s on (standard wheels on the E28 M5).

They look great! I'm considering getting springs as well, or maybe just a strut brace. I want to keep it as oem as possible.

I don’t have them but I would like to get a pair sometime in the future. I’ve heard antidotal good reviews of the Mason stuff. BMW did make a rear strut that was part of the towing package, if you can believe that. You can find that part number on realoem.com.

I saw one for sale in the DC area a few months back, and it wasn't the TD. I have to get a diesel e28 some day.

It has an Alpina cam, rockers and springs. With other various goodies, such as Bilstein Sports all around (lowered), intake, engine was board out some, after market regulator, Ansa exhaust, short shift kit, etc.

Thats all I can think of, I bought it from a friend, and all the work was done by a single mechanic, with papers and all.

Lets just say my friend in his 350z thought it was an old P.O.S. and mocked by awesome blue interior, but I made him shut up.

i was just thinking today that E28s are now a very rare site on the roads and came looking for pics... keep em coming you guys, love that 535 with bbs wheels!

Ok, I'll play. Here are some pictures of my E28 M5 taken at the Presidio in San Francisco. At present, the car has 38,500 miles on the odometer (yeah, it sits in the garage waiting for the occasional drive on a sunny weekend!).

Ah what an amazing specimen of a pristine M5! I truly need to find an e28 M5, but they're difficult to come by in good condition and without rust. High mileage engines also require expensive overhauls, which puts me off them. I'll stick with my reliable trusty 528e until I find the perfect e28.

Thanks! I see what you mean when I look at your car, but I've been hesitant to mess with what Mother BMW created.

I know what you mean. I looked for a while then, all of a sudden, a California car popped up 20 miles from me with 27,500 miles on the odometer. This was in May 1997. It wasn't cheap (and low-mileage examples of the E28 M5 still command high price tags) and I dumped $3K into it right off the bat. But it's been a great car and gets plenty of looks.
