Hello all. What a great site! I've been reading through the forum for a few months now and have learned so much. It was fun to shop for cars knowing more than most of the salesmen.

Years ago I had a red 4-speed 1978 E21 318 that I loved. I enjoyed that car for as long as lasted. Eventually the rear strut braces rusted out and one popped through the wheel well. Sad day that was.

Since then I've had many other cars but never quite loved them the way I did the 318. I've been looking for a good Bimmer for about 4 months now and finally found one I like last night.

Meet my new (to me) 2006 325i. It's an automatic with 28,000 miles. The only thing not working is the left cup holder. Otherwise, the interior has some small scuffs and scrapes but nothing major. That said, it is beauty. All of those excellent qualities are there...ride, handling, smooth engine, luxury.

I'm very excited to have a car that I look forward to driving. Thanks to this site and its users for all the help you've given me.
