Check out my new 1993 525i Touring
Hi Bimmerfest, I'm glad to have found you. I just bought this dark green beauty, and it's my first BMW. Heck it's my first car with an MSRP over $10k (I've been driving a Ford Escort for 10 yrs).
My new car is nearly 16 years old but it's only got 107k miles on it. I'm in love with the classic Bimmer headlight/grill look, and I've never driven quality like this. It's taking some getting used to how much of the work this car does for you - I'm used to stomping on the gas and wrestling with the stick. My big fear is that something really pricy will need to be fixed soon, but I feel a lot better knowing how much experience there is on these boards.
